Comments - This boot is certainly distinctive. It uses the last that my previous purchase used, so I knew it would be a good fit. I particularly like the lace hooks which allow taking off and putting on a bit easier. I also use the Chelsea Dubbin leatherfood on them which is available from Sanders, so they should shrug off the rain. I'm very pleased with them.

I’d spotted these in the John Rushden shop in London when I popped in looking for some leather care product…. It was spring and I wasn’t really looking for new boots. Come autumn I popped in & tried these on and went for it. Love these - my favourite daily boot. The waxy leather gives a great worn in character and the fitting has a nice wide toebox. Really nice. (Plus I love the shop - really old school personal experience).

I was in the market for a casual/ work wear inspired boot but really wanted an English made boot, as opposed to some of the imported designer brands. I stumbled across this by pure chance and thought long and hard before the purchase. I can honestly say it’s the nicest boot I’ve ever owned and am sure it’ll last years and gain a nice patina as time goes on. Fit wise it was perfect, I was unsure what size to order as in some English brands wide fitting boots I’m an 8.5 and when I had my feet measured they came out at 9.5, wide. I opted for a 9 on advice of customer service and they felt a little snug when I first tried them on, but after an hour or so they felt perfect and fit like a glove, my wide feet where fine, pleased I didn’t go up a half size. My one slight criticism is the laces, it’s probably a personal thing but I felt they where a little thin, so I’ve ordered some flat waxed ones to replace them, as I say this is just my personal preference. Anyway, I really can’t recommend these boots highly enough, yes they’re not cheap but I’m sure they’ll last me forever so it’s not a bad investment…remember the saying, buy cheap, but twice.

These Craig boots are great. Plenty of character without being too extravagant. The uppers will look even better after getting a bit of wear/patina. I think these are going to become my "daily" boots they are that good. The pictures on the website are accurate with regards to the snuff/medium(ish) brown colour/shade of the boots. Highly recommended.

Comments - I am usually a size 8 but unfortunately these were a bit tight for me (big toe was up against inside...plenty of room width wise though). After a phone call and a few clicks it was easy to arrange for an exchange with the factory for a half size up. Excellent customer service.
